Suzu, a light-hearted girl with a passion for drawing, grows up in Hiroshima. After turning 18, she marries an officer from Kure. It is the year 1944. For one last time, Suzu wanders the streets of Hiroshima, saying good-bye. Before her lies a new life – and the terrors of an unfathomable catastrophe. KATABUCHI draws a previously unseen picture of Hiroshima, set within a touching coming-of-age drama.
