Katsu returns to his hometown, denying his identity. He starts an affair with his boss, spies on a couple having sex, and attempts to rape a young woman. Tatsumi KUMASHIRO’s nihilistic drama is not only bleak in its depiction of human interaction, but also attacks prevalent censorship practices by overtly emphasizing them – be it through giant black bars or scratches on the film itself.
